For sci-fi or fantasy manuscripts…

December 21, 2010 § 1 Comment

A quick update to share the news: the publisher Angry Robot is having a free-for-all submission month in March, 2011, where they will read manuscripts from anybody. This is big news because so many publishing houses only read manuscripts sent via literary agents – including Angry Robot, most of the time.

Angry Robot (I know, strange name) publishes novels that fall at least loosely under the science fiction or fantasy headings. If your novel isn’t in either of these genres, however, it can still be worth looking over their submissions page, as they have written up some useful advice for new novelists trying to sell their first manuscripts.
